Meishou Solare had switched to over jumps since last three races ago. He was 2nd favourite for this time.
He started from the back of the field. He needed to be learn jumping properly. His jumping got better as he went along the race. Gradually, he started to pass a few horses and by the last few fences he was just behind the front group.
After the final fence, there was a good distance between Meishou Solare and the front leaders. As soon as the jockey asked him, he galloped strongly till the line and passed the horses in front and won the race. He had won 5 race on flat and now put another win over jumps in his CV.

Great Pearl ran a huge race last time out for the first time on Dirt, So he was the favourite for this race.
He was slow into the stride as usual. He was pushed to get a good position, going 4-wide around the first turn. Once he got into his stride he traveled on bridle comfortably.
He was going 3 or 4 wide whole through the race.
He was pushed along the final bend, and easily pass the horses in front and clear the field in the straight. He won by 5 lengths.
It was raining on the day. The dirt track was sloppy and turned out to be a fast track. It was a concern for Great Pearl that if he can handle that sort of track. That didn’t matter, the Jockey, Mickael Barzalona guided nicely to win the race easy.
