Great Pearl stepped up in an Open class, still the odd-on favorite.
He jumped off not fast as his usual. He settled in the mid position. He didn’t want to get covered up so he traveled outside. He has such huge stride and is a big galloper.
In the straight the jockey waited for other horse to come close. Great Pearl went away and kept 1 length lead to the finish line.
He is well able to compete in this Open class. We look forward to seeing him in Graded races in near future.

Sardona was the favorite again for this race.
She was quick from the gate. She chased the front group. She was pushed along coming around the bend. She was closing at home but she could only manage to get up to 3rd place.
Sardona was not herself this time and could not show her true performance.

Eclair Sparkle made his debut here. He was the odds-on favorite.
He was the fastest from the gate, but let the other horses go in front and get a nice lead from them. He settled in the 3rd position. He was on bridle coming around the final bend. As soon as he hit the straight, he got up in front. The Jockey, Yuga Kawada waited the final furlong to ask the horse. He went away and won by 2 1/2 lengths.Eclair Sparkle won his debut and ran as we expected.
He is still immature but showed his ability at the race. He will improve and benefit this experience.
