He had not run for nearly 5 month. He grew and got stronger during this period.
He was the 3rd favorite for this race, competing with older horses.
He jumped off well, so he was in the front group of horses. He passed the horses in front and got up in the front 1 furlong out. He just held to win by a neck.
When he gets his own way he tries very hard and shows the speed like this time.
Now his CV is 2 out 4. We look forward to seeing him in an upper class of races in the future.

Elation had plenty time between races and freshened up for this outing.
He jumped off good and got 4th position. He traveled nicely on the bridle coming into the straight. He quickened up to chase the front but could not manage to close the gap. He was only 1 length short in 3rd place.
Elation runs consistent races lately and we look forward to seeing him in next outing.
