He was chosen to be the favorite for this newcomers race. He wasn’t fast from the gate but the jockey was chasing hard to get him going. He was asked coming into the straight. He tried very hard to catch the front. He eventually got up in the front last 50m.
He proved himself that he can run!

He won the G3 stakes race last time and made it 2 for 2. He is trying the G1 this time. He was the favorite.
He jumped out the gate very fast and quickly got 3rd position on the rail. He was a little bit keen earlier but coming around the bend nicely. He was asked to go in the straight and responded very fast. He left the field and won by 3 1/2 lengths in the end. He showed a tremendous turn of foot and made himself 3 for 3.

He keep improving and look forward to seeing him next year.

He made a comeback from over 1 1/2 year off last time and proved himself to finish 3rd.
He raced from middle of the pack and settled on the rail. He was pressed coming into the straight. He came through between horses and fighting to the line. It was 4 horses photo finish. Matenro Ghost just got up by a short nose to win the race.
Matenro Ghost was brave and fine ride by the jockey.
