He started from No.1 stall and settled nicely front side of the field on the rail.
He was urged going around the turn and chased the front. He was guided to the outside in the straight. He got up in front 1 furlong out and held well to win.
The Jockey, Yusuke Fujioka guided well and understood the horse well to win the race.

Great Pearl was sideline over 11 months. He made his reappearance in the race. Still he was the favourite.
He raced from the middle of field. Over backstretch he was bought to outside to get a clear run. He was going 4 wide going around the turn, pressed but making up ground. He was with the front group going in the straight.  He got up in front last 100m and win the race.
Now he is 6 for 6 on dirt, has 2 Grade 3 wins under his belt.
