Flautista weighs only 420kg, a small filly. She was training well and showing good speed at home. So the team had a high expectation on her with Andrea Atzeni on board.
She jumped off fast and got a good position behind eventually winner. But coming into the first turn, she got squeezed out and lost her balance. She got behind of walls of horses.
She got herself balance and rhythm back. She started charging in the straight but could not catch one more horse and finished 2nd place.
She proved herself that she can run and was brave enough to go through between horses. We look forward to her bright future ahead.

Old Baily joined the stable about 2 months ago.
He was training well and showed good speed at home.
It was the first time out for him and everything was news to him. He didn’t seem care about anything, he looked he was a proper.
He wasn’t fast from the gate but soon he went up to 2nd position from the wide outside draw.
He was on the bridle coming around the bend. He was asked and stretched well. Other horses are closing last 100m but Old Baily was brace to fight again.
He just held on by a head to win his first time out.
It was an impressive win and looks Old Baily has a bright future ahead.
