It was the first try in the Graded Stakes company. He was still the favorite.
He was slow into the stride. The pace was vary fast early part of the race. Great Pearl had hard time keep up with the pace. His engine started going in the backstretch. He gradually made up the ground. He was sitting in the 2nd position, going into the straight.
He was in the front 1 furlong out and kept the safety lead and won in a good style.
Great Pearl is a Graded Stakes winner now and plenty more to come in the future.
