He won on the same course and distance 2 weeks ago, but this time he is trying in an upper class for the first time.
He slipped in the gate but he quickly go into his stride and made up ground before the first turn. He settled in the 3rd position.
He was asked going into the straight. He held horses from behind and challenged hard to catch the front. He closed at home but he was a neck short in 2nd.
He was beaten but it looked he is well able to compete in this class.

It was the first time out for Beluga. She was the odd-on favorite with the jockey Joan Moreila, Magic Man.
She left 2L behind at the start. But she got into her stride soon and made up the ground. She settled in middle of the field.
As soon as she hit the straight, she was bought to the outside and stretched her legs.
She showed good turn of foot and got up in the front. She clear the field by 4 lengths in the end.
She showed her ability in her first start. She certainly will has a bright future.
